The Sliced Roof
The sliced type slate is also classified as "rustic mountain"; its exposed sides have an irregular design. The covering can be double or triple overlap. The latter solution ensures a longer lifespan of the roof but can only be applied in cases where the structure supporting the covering is sufficiently robust, due to the significantly higher thickness compared to other types of slates. The installation can be done with galvanized nails and optionally with mortar.
